The firm is widely recognised for its strength in dispute resolution, corporate and commercial law, mining and energy, regulatory advisory, and public sector work. Its teams act on complex, high value matters involving corporates, state owned entities, financial institutions, and government departments.

Our primary contact at the firm is Rishaban Moodley, Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution. Rishaban advises on commercial litigation, mining and energy disputes, media and administrative law, and forensic investigations. He has led large scale litigation and judicial review proceedings, including public procurement challenges and cross border disputes. His practice reflects the depth of experience required in jurisdictions where regulatory and commercial issues often intersect.

We also work closely with Calinka Murray, Business Improvement Director. Calinka plays a key role in translating strategy into measurable performance across the Dispute Resolution practice and the wider firm. She leads cross functional initiatives covering people, finance, operations, pricing, knowledge management, and technology. Her focus on process design, data driven decision making, and governance strengthens the firm’s operational resilience and client delivery.

Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr will be present at ABL’s 50th Conference in Vienna, where their representatives will introduce the firm to members and engage directly with the network. This will provide an opportunity for delegates to learn more about their capabilities and explore cross border collaboration.
