Merger Notice

Narda Ben Zvi and her partners, David Schottenfels and Ori Kasir, bring to the firm their considerable knowledge and practice in hi-tech and intellectual property and will focus the development of those fields. Narda Ben Zvi will head the firm's Hi-tech and Intellectual Property Department. She will also reinforce the firm's growing Commercial Litigation Department.

The merger brings to the firm extensive experience and knowledge of hi-tech and intellectual property – both from the commercial aspect and that of intellectual property litigation. The merger brings together deep understanding of intellectual property and experience in establishing and representing startup and advanced-stage hi-tech companies, with the well-known market force and capabilities of Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co. in all its diversified fields of activity.

Narda Ben Zvi explains the decision to join the offices of Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co.:
"It was natural to choose Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co based on its good reputation, its professionalism and the growth it has experienced in recent years. Opening a hi-tech and intellectual property department in the firm will leverage and expand its already considerable base. This is a move with tremendous potential and I have no doubt it is the right choice".

In addition to Narda Ben Zvi, David Schottenfels and Ori Kasir, 3 other colleagues are joining the firm.

Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co., currently with over 50 lawyers, has been for decades one of Israel's leading and most highly-rated law offices, whose customers are both Israeli and foreign. Established in 1923, the firm has an impressive record of creating legal precedents and large-scale transactions and has been part and parcel to the establishment and growth of Israel's economy.

The firm engages in a wide variety of fields including banking, real estate, commercial and corporate law, litigation, administrative law and tenders, energy and infrastructures, labor law, environmental protection, cooperative societies and antitrust.  This merger will expand its range of activities by adding intellectual property and hi-tech.

Adv. Yaacov Rivanowitch, a senior partner in Yaacov Salomon, Lipschütz & Co. adds:

"As a constantly growing office, in human resources as well as number and types of customers, the bond with Narda Ben Zvi and her team is natural for a large law firm seeking to provide to its clients a real one-stop-shop in all areas of legal activity. This connection also coincides with the growing volume of the firm's activity, where emphasis is put on leading commercial clients.

I am happy and congratulate Narda Ben Zvi and her team for coming aboard. Narda is a force to be reckoned with and one of the most highly-rated lawyers in Israel in the fields of hi-tech and intellectual property. She is ranked as a leading lawyer in foreign rating guides. Undoubtedly, she will expand and broaden the firm's scope of activities and achievements in the coming years".
